Ismael Al-Farooq

Ismael Al-Farooq is the founder of Capital Flows Global, published by Blueprint Three Consulting Ltd. He brings 20 years of construction project management experience to the work, and with it a discipline of method, documentation and accountability that carries straight into how the model is built and logged. He has followed financial markets as a retail participant since 2008, first in equities and, since 2021, in crypto. His current focus is long/short portfolio construction using swing and position models derived from a proprietary strategy developed over the past several years, the same rules-based framework behind the weekly Capital Flows read. Ismael is an Associate Member of the Society of Technical Analysts and holds a BSc (Hons) in Real Estate Management. His ongoing professional development covers financial markets, behavioural finance, financial engineering and risk management, investment management, and data analytics.
